The SkyFunk 3 system serves to transmit video and stereo audio signals by wireless
means. To achieve this, the video/audio signal from a source (e.g. a satellite receiver or
video recorder) is transmitted by the SkyFunk transmitter, which is located, for example, in
your living room, to the SkyFunk receiver, which might be located in your study or bedroom.
The receiver converts the signals back to normal video/audio signals, which can be display-
ed on a television screen, using a Scart connection. If your television set is not equipped
with a Scart socket, you can use an external modulator, which is available through specia-
list retailers. This will allow you to receive the signal via the antenna input socket of your
television set.
In the same manner, control signals of the existing remote control at the receiving end (e.g.
the study) are transmitted to the signal source, thus allowing you to operate remotely the
appliance connected at the signal source (i.e. a satellite receiver or video recorder located in
the living room).
Four channels are available for the transmission of audio and video signals. These can be
selected by means of DIP switches located on the SkyFunk 3 units.
Please note that the transmitter and receiver units must be operated on
the same channel (channels 1-4).
