Connecting headphones
For monitoring the audio signals of the mounted receivers, connect a pair of
headphones to the headphone output ¶. The audio signals can be monitored
either separately or simultaneously.
̈ Turn the headphone volume control ² counter-clockwise as far as possi-
ble.
̈ Connect the headphones to the headphone output ¶.
̈ Press the monitor keys (RX 1 to RX 4) » next to the receivers that you
wish to monitor. The color of the control LEDs ¿ below the pressed
monitor keys changes from red to green.
̈ Slowly turn the headphone volume control ² clockwise until you have
reached the desired volume.
Volume up? – NO!
When people use headphones, they tend to choose a higher volume than
with loudspeakers. Listening at high volume levels for long periods can
lead to permanent hearing defects. Please protect your hearing,
Sennheiser headphones have an excellent sound quality even at low
volumes.
Mounting two Quadpacks into a rack
With the rack-mounting kit (see „Accessories” on page 31), two Quadpacks
can be mounted side by side into a 19
" rack.
̈ Place the two Quadpacks side by side onto a table, their bottom sides
facing upwards.
̈ Put the mounting plate ³ onto the bottom sides of the Quadpacks and
fix it to the Quadpacks by means of the eight supplied screws.
̈ Screw the two rack mount “ears” · to the two connected Quadpacks.
If you wish to operate the two Quadpacks with a pair of antennas moun-
ted to the front of the rack (see below), fix the two cables » of the GA
3030 AM antenna mount to the rack mount “ears” · as shown in the
diagram on the left.
̈ Mount the system into a 19" rack and screw it tight.
