Controls and connectors

Jack panel
You can place your
portable audio
player here.
This will accommodate a player
of up to the following size.

Width: 144 mm
Depth: 22 mm
Input (INPUT) jacks CH1, CH2: monaural
Connect the following equipment
Microphone
Musical instrument (Guitar, etc.)
If something is connected to both the XLR
connector and phone connector at the same
time, the phone jack will be given priority.
Wiring diagrams for these jacks are shown below. Make connections
after rst checking the wiring diagrams of other equipment you
intend to connect.

Input (INPUT) jack CH3/CH4: stereo
CH5/CH6: stereo
Connect the following equipment
Keyboards
Line-level devices
Guitar
CD player
Portable audio player, etc.
If you’re using a monaural source, connect it to
L/MONO (CH4 or CH6).
AC adaptor (DC IN) jack
Connect the included AC adap-
tor here.
You can also connect the
commercially available cable
for an external power device.

Input (AUX IN) jack
Connect the following equipment
CD player
Portable audio player, etc.
Computer, etc.
The RCA phono jacks and mini-jack can be
used simultaneously.
Use the [LEVEL] knob to adjust the
volume.
Stereo link (STEREO LINK) jacks
These jacks are used when you want to
connect two BA-330 units to create a
stereo system with greater output power.
For details, refer to “Connecting an addi-
tional unit to increase the output (Stereo
Link)” (p. 14).
The EQUALIZER knobs and the
MASTER [VOLUME] knob do not
aect the LINE OUT jacks.
Output (LINE OUT) jacks
Connect these jacks to your
mixer or recorder.
If you’re outputting in monaural,
connect the L/MONO jack.
FOOT SW jack
If only one foot switch is connected
using a monaural cable, only the MUTE
function can be switched.
You can use a foot switch to turn MUTE
(FS-5L) and EFFECT (FS-5U) on/o.
