DISC (/+)
When the desired disc title
is displayed, press the PLAY
(3) button.
The disc desired starts to be
played.
To search a disc by the Disc title
Press the TITLE DISPLAY
button during playback to
display the title.
Note!!
If the DISC (–/+) button is pressed while the title is scrolled immedi-
ately after the start of disc playback, the previous or next disc will be
selected.
CD TEXT Data Display
(CD TEXT compatible data only)
The CD TEXT data including the disc title, track title and performer
name in a CD can be displayed.
The CD TEXT indicator lights up when a CD containing CD TEXT data
is played.

÷ Some discs may not have the performer name data.
÷ Even when a disc without the CD TEXT compatibility is played, the
disc title is displayed provided that it has been input previously.
When a disc played does not have a disc title input for it, the disc
title display becomes as shown below.

Note!!
A very long title or performer name (more than about 1000 characters)
may not be displayed completely.
<Title Memory>
Once the disc title of a CD TEXT disc is shown, the top 8 characters
are automatically stored in memory.
Even when another title has been stored, it is automatically overwrit-
ten by the new CD TEXT disc title.
Tip:
If the CD TEXT disc title begins with a space character, it will not be
overwritten. Therefore, if you do not want a title to be overwritten,
insert a space character as the first character.
When you want to overwrite a title beginning with a space character,
simply remove the space character.
