Operation
With this product, operation of the following three functions differs. (Reference pages are
in the Hide-away DAB Tuner’s Operation Manual)
• Changing the Label (Refer to page 12.)
• Operating Announcements with Function Menu (Refer to page 19.)
• Dynamic Label Function (Refer to page 21.)
This product does not have the following three functions. (Reference pages are in the
Hide-away DAB Tuner’s Operation Manual)
• Changing Display Indications (Refer to page 13.)
• Language Filter Function (Refer to page 15.)
• Using the PGM button (Refer to page 25.)
7 Changing the Label
Each press of the DISPLAY button changes the display in the following order:
Service Label A (Service Label) = Service Component Label (SC Label) = Dynamic
Label (DAB TEXT) = PTY Label (PTY) = Ensemble Label (Ensemble Label) =
Service Label B (Service Label)
Note:
• With a Service Component that has no Service Component Label or Dynamic Label, switching to
Service Component Label and Dynamic Label is not possible.
• With displays other than Service Label, if you do not perform an operation within 8 seconds or
press a button other than the DISPLAY button, the display returns to Service Label Indicators.
7 Operating Announcements with the Function Menu
When operating with the 2/3 button at step 2, indications are displayed in the following
order:
News Flash (News) Ô Area Weather Flash (Weather) Ô Announce (Announce)
Note:
• The Announce mode (Announce) unifies three modes such as Warning/Service, Event Flash and
Special Event.
7 Dynamic Label Display
• Press the TEXT button to display the Dynamic Label.
Dynamic Label currently being received is displayed.
Repeat the preceding operation to cancel the Dynamic Label display.
Note:
• The first line of the Dynamic Label is displayed by pressing the 5 button and the next line is dis-
played by pressing the ∞ button.
• With a Service Component that has no Dynamic Label, the display does not change.
