Adjusting subwoofer settings
When the subwoofer output is on, you can
adjust the cut-off frequency and the output level
of the subwoofer.
1 Press AUDIO
to select the subwoofer set-
ting.
When the subwoofer output is on, you can
select the subwoofer setting. Press
AUDIO until
80Hz appears in the display.
• If the subwoofer setting has been previously
adjusted, the frequency of that previously
selected will be displayed, such as 50Hz or
125Hz.
2 Press 2 or 3 to select cut-off frequency.
Press 2 and 50Hz is displayed. Press 3 and
125Hz is displayed. Only frequencies lower than
those in the selected range are output from the
subwoofer.
3 Press 5 or to adjust the output level of
the subwoofer.
Each press of 5 or increases or decreases
the level of the subwoofer (e.g., +6 to –6).
Press 5 or until you see the desired value
displayed.
Adjusting source levels
SLA (Source level adjustment) lets you adjust
the volume level of each source to prevent radi-
cal changes in volume when switching between
sources.
• Settings are based on the volume level of the
FM tuner, which remains unchanged.
1 Compare the FM tuner volume level with
the level of the source you wish to adjust (e.g.,
built-in CD player).
2 Press AUDIO to select SLA.
Press AUDIO until SLA appears in the display.
3 Press 5 or to adjust the source volume.
Each press of 5 or increases or decreases
the source volume.
SLA :+4 SLA :–4 is displayed as the source
volume is increased or decreased.
Notes
• Since the FM tuner volume is the control, it is
not possible to apply source level adjustments
to the FM tuner.
• The MW/LW tuner volume level can also be
adjusted with source level adjustments.
