Connecting the Speaker Cables
The following illustration shows which speaker should
be connected to each pair of terminals.
You can connect a subwoofer with a built-in power
amplifier to the A-933’s SUBWOOFER PREOUT jack.
Tip:
The volume and quality of the bass output from
your subwoofer will depend on its position, the shape of
your listening room, and your listening position. In gen-
eral, a good bass sound can be obtained by installing the
subwoofer in a front corner, or at one-third of the way
along the wall in front of your listening position. To find
the best position for your subwoofer, while playing a
movie or some music with good bass, experiment by
placing your subwoofer at various positions within the
room, and choose the one that provides the most satisfy-
ing results.
1
Strip about 15 mm of insu-
lation from the ends of the
speaker cables, and twist
the bare wires tightly, as
shown.
2
Unscrew the terminal.
3
Fully insert the bare
wires.
4
Screw the terminal tight.
