1. If possible, connect your Olive 4/4HD to your network using an ethernet cable.
This will result in faster music transfer from your Mac to your Olive 4/4HD.
2. Go to Network Information on your Olive 4/4HD and note the IP address.
3. On your Mac keyboard, open the Finder window (not the spotlight search).
4. Click the GO option next to File, Edit, View, etc. in the nav bar.
Settings > Network Settings > Network Information
Finder Window > GO
6. Type in smb://xx.x.x.xx (x’s are for the Olive IP address from step 2).
7. Click Connect and an Import Folder will appear on the home network once active.
The Import Folder is a default con guration by Olive as a Windows le server.
5. Drag and drop individual les or complete folders into the Import Folder.
Files are automatically tagged, organized and led within your Olive system.
