Listening to cassette tape
÷Tapes are played in the directions indicated by their respective indica-
tors on the display.
÷The playback starts with the deck the play key of which is pressed.

Load cassette tapes in both decks.
Relay playback
This function plays back the tapes in both decks A and B
continuously and repeatedly.
Press stop (7) key of the deck that is
playing.
Each press switches the indication.
1 [” : Relay playback of two sides of tapes in decks A and
B is repeated.
2 ”: Relay playback is not available with this setting.
3 ” : Relay playback of only one side of tapes in decks A
and B is repeated.
Each press switches the indication.
1 DOLBY NR “OFF” (extinguished): Dolby NR is not used.
2 DOLBY NR “B”: Noise reduction of the ordinary type.
3 DOLBY NR “C”: Noise reduction with higher performance.
÷Select the Dolby NR mode according to the tape recording status.
To Stop relay playback

Open the cassette holders of decks A and
B.

Insert cassette tapes and close the cas-
sette holders of decks A and B.

Determine the playback condition.

Start playback.
÷Be sure to remove tape slack before insertion.
÷Be sure to close the cassette holder securely by pushing it.

Select the playback mode.

Select the Dolby NR mode.
