Displays
Displays scrolling
Some track titles contain so much text information that the full
titles will not fit on the display. In cases like this, the letters on
the display move from right to left so that the non-visible part
of the title is revealed. This type of display movement is known
as “scrolling of display.”

Each press of the DISPLAY key changes the displayed contents.
Track title display (only CD-TEXT)

Elapsed time of track being played
Remaining time of track being played
Elapsed time of entire disc
(T lights up.)
Remaining time on entire disc
(T lights up.)
÷The displays 1, 2, 3, and 4 are shown in PGM mode, RANDOM
mode, MUSIC TYPE mode, and BEST SELECTION mode.
÷The displays 1, 2 and 3 are shown in stop mode.
Displaying all the text information
In the case of a CD-TEXT disc, the text information shown below is displayed automatically during normal play (TRACK mode).
1Press the MODE key.
2Select “ALL INFORMATION”.
3Set the input.
To jump to the next track or to return to the previous
track during display:

1 Disc/Track Title : Disc and track titles
2 Disc/Track Artist : Artist
3 Disc/Track Songwriter : Songwriter
4 Disc/Track Composer : Composer
5 Disc/Track Arranger : Arranger
6 Disc/Track Message : Message from sponsor or artist
7 ID INFO. : Record company, release date, etc.
8 Genre INFO. : Genre information
÷Items from 1 to 6 are displayed in the sequence of disc and track.
÷When there is no text information to be displayed “– – – – –” is scrolled
on the display.
÷In the case of a non-CD-TEXT disc, the “NO CD TEXT” display will
appear for approx. 3 seconds.
To end ALL INFORMATION during display
Press the MODE key.
