Basic operations of disc/file playback
Press [DISPLAY/CHARA] repeatedly
during playback.
• Each time you press [DISPLAY/CHARA], the
display changes.
■When a DVD VIDEO is played back
■When a DVD VR is played back
■When a VCD or SVCD is played back
*1 “PBC” refers to “playback control”. When the
PBC function is canceled, the “PBC” display
disappears and the elapsed playback time
appears. (Refer to page 24.)
■When a CD is played back
■When an MP3 or WMA file is played back
*2 When text, such as a tag information, has been
recorded in the MP3 or WMA file, the text
appears and scrolls in the display window.
