Connecting a TV:
Connect the TV to the appropriate MONITOR OUT jacks to view the playback picture from any other connected video
components.
Turn off all components before making connections.

• Select the audio and video input settings according to the connection method. See page 21 for
details.
• When connecting a VCR or another video component to the COMPONENT VIDEO jacks, set the
COMPONENT select setting (see page 34) correctly according to the equipment you connect;
otherwise, you cannot view the playback picture on the TV.
• You can enjoy digital audio if using a digital coaxial or optical cable. For details of the digital
audio connection, see page 14.
