ACTION
• Connect the power.
• Refer to “Connections” and
make sure all equipment is
connected correctly.
• Connect the speaker cords.
• Disconnect the
headphones.
• Turn VOLUME to the right.
• Make sure both speakers
are connected with the
correct polarity.
• Adjust the balance toward
the center.
• Make sure the speaker
cords are connected
securely.
• Make sure the antennas are
connected securely.
• Change the location and
direction of the AM loop
antenna.
• Strech the wire antenna out
and pin it in a position that
provides good reception.
• Replace the batteries.
• Reinsert batteries correctly.
• Point remote control at the
remote sensor on the
amplifier/tuner.
• Keep the remote sensor
away from direct sunlight.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The AC power cord is
disconnected.
• Connections are incorrect or
incomplete.
• The speaker cords are not
connected.
• Headphones are connected.
• The volume control is
turned all the way down.
• The polarity (+, –) of one
speaker is reversed.
• The balance is turned all the
way to the right or left.
• A speaker cords is
disconnected.
• Antenna is not connected.

laying in a pile on the floor.
• Batteries are exhausted.

• The remote sensor is in
direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
