Important
Since movement of the CD mechanism and the sensitive circuitry may cause
interference to radio tuners nearby, switch this unit off while operating other devices.
Precautions for Use
Installation
Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
Do not connect the unit to a power outlet before checking the voltage and before
all other connections have been made. Do not cover any vents and make sure that
there is space around the unit for ventillation.
Connection
1. Connect the power adapter to an AC outlet.
2. When you first plug the unit in, the unit will go to standby mode,and the clock
display will show “-- -- : -- --”.
3.Turn on the power and select CD function, if the LCD turns on, then the power
supply is normal and the system is ready to play music.
Battery Back-up (Batteries not included)
In the event of a power failure, this unit will automatically switch to a battery or stand-
by circuit when the batteries are installed. Open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT on
the bottom of the unit and install 3 “AAA” batteries. It is recommended that you use
alkaline batteries for back-up and to change the batteries every year, or after a power
outage of more than 12 hours.
