1 - HOW TO SET THE BATTERY
TheCLA-40VOXamplifier needs witha9VPP3 battery(notprovided).
Toinsertthebatteryintothe amplifier:
-Open thebatterycompartment locatedonthe basebypressing thesmall
plasticlock.
-Insertthe9Vbatterywiththecorrectpolarityintotheconnectorinthebattery
compartment.
-Replacethe batterycover.
-Theamplifieris nowreadytobeconnectedtothe phone.
2 - HOW TO CONNECT THE CLA-40VOX TO THE PHONE
To connectyourphonetothe CLA-40VOX amplifier:
-Unplugthehandsetfrom yourtelephonebasesocket.
-ConnectthesmallleadsuppliedwiththeCLA-40VOXtothetelephone base
socketandto theinputsocket(1)locatedatthe topofyourCLA-40VOX.
-Connectyourhandsetcurly cordtotheoutputsocket(2)locatedatthe front
of your CLA-40VOX.
VOICE CONTROL : As soonasthe CLA-40VOXwill detectavoice, a
soundfromtheearpieceorthemicrophone,itwillturnONautomatically(LED
lit)thenduringasilence morethan15secsitwillalsoturnOFFautomatically.
IMPORT ANT :
TheCLA-40VOX cannotbeusedwithone-piecetelephones
whichhaveakeypad onthehandset.
