Configuration 1:
The Passive PDP Speakers can be used with up to 40
watts average power / 80 watts peak power amplifiers.
Often, this amplifier will be built into the Plasma Display
Panel unit.
Configuration 2:
When a PDP Subwoofer is added to the Passive PDP
Speakers, the PDP Subwoofer can be connected to the
Speaker Level Outputs from the PDP monitor. The PDP
Subwoofer will pass the signal through a High-Pass
Crossover Filter. The Passive PDP Speakers are
connected to the High-Pass Crossover via the Speaker
Level High-Frequency Outputs on the PDP Subwoofer.
Configuration 3:
The Powered PDP Speakers are composed of one
powered speaker, and a slave speaker which is identical
to the Passive PDP Speakers. The Powered PDP Speaker
can connect to the audio output of the PDP Monitor, using
either a 3.5mm stereo phone plug or RCA connectors.
The slave PDP speaker is connected to the Powered PDP
Speaker's output connector.
Configuration 4:
When a PDP Subwoofer is added to the Powered PDP
Speaker system, it is connected to the audio output of the
PDP Monitor, using either a 3.5mm stereo phone plug or
RCA connectors. The Powered PDP Speaker is then
connected to the 3.5 mm High-Frequency Output Jack of
the PDP Subwoofer. The slave speaker is connected to
the Powered PDP Speaker's amplifier output.
