2. INTRODUCTION
This manual describes the CIS50, CIS65 and CIS80 loudspeakers. These are designed for
ush-mounting ceiling installation.
The HF and LF drivers are coaxially mounted for a smooth frequency response and
a symmetrical projection pattern. This results in an attractive design and good acoustic
features for quality speech and music reproduction.
Each loudspeaker is equipped with a line transformer that makes it possible to connect
it to constant voltage sound systems at 70 V or 100 V. The transformer has taps, allowing a
selection of power ratings.
The polypropylene LF cone and mylar HF dome provide stable operation in varying
environmental conditions. They also provide higher reliability and longevity over similarly
priced paper-coned products.
The steel redome (backcan) is tted with unique clamps that can signicantly reduce
its installation time. The grille assembly is rmly attached from behind the bafe. The
driver/bafe assembly then easily installs in the premounted redome with spring-loaded
hardware. This results in a solid attachment method that also provides a cosmetically clean
appearance. Five year warranty.
