SD/MMC MODE
Select SD/MMC mode to play digital MP3/WMA audio les from an SD/MMC card. For
more information about MP3 or WMA digital audio les, please see the About MP3/WMA
Files section. Press FUNCTION to select SD/MMC mode.
Playing MP3/WMA Files from SD/MMC Cards
Transfer the MP3/WMA les onto the SD/MMC card you wish to connect (you may need to
use a computer and a SD/MMC card reader to do this).
Insert the SD/MMC card into the stereo’s SD/MMC card slot.
Press FUNCTION to select SD/MMC mode. The LCD will display “READING” while the
stereo scans for MP3/WMA les on the card. The more les that are on the card, the longer
it will take to complete the scan. When playback is stopped, the LCD will display the total
number of folders and MP3/WMA les on the card.
MP3/WMA Playback Controls
Press to start playback. Press again to pause playback or press to stop playback.
Press again to resume playback.
To select the next track, press . To fast forward through the current track, press and hold .
To select the previous track, press . To reverse through a track, press and hold .
If the card contains multiple folders, press BAND/FOLDER to change folders.
If the ID3 Display feature has been turned on in the MENU options (and the MP3 le being played con-
tains ID3 information), then the le name, song title, and artist name will be displayed on the LCD.
MP3/WMA Play Modes and Options
INTRO Mode
Press INTRO to toggle Intro Mode on or off. Intro mode will play the rst 10 seconds of
each track.
RANDOM Mode
Press RANDOM to toggle Random Mode on or off. Random mode will play your tracks in a
random, shufed order.
REPEAT Modes
While playback is stopped, press REPEAT to toggle through the following Random modes:
Repeat One (repeats one track)
Repeat All (repeats all tracks on the card)
Repeat Folder (repeats all tracks in the current folder)
REPEAT A-B Mode
Repeat A-B allows you to specify a segment of a track to play as a repeating loop.
During playback, press REPEAT twice to designate the beginning of the loop (Point A).
The LCD will display .
Press REPEAT again to designate the end of the loop (Point B). The LCD will display
and the track segment A to B will play in a repeating loop.
Press REPEAT again to exit the repeating loop and continue normal playback.
