Care and Maintenance
Toremovedustfromthecabinetofyouramplier,useafeatherdusteroralint-
freesoftcloth.Toremovedirtandngerprints,werecommendisopropylalcohol
and a soft cloth. Dampen the cloth with alcohol rst and then lightly clean the
surface of the amplier with the cloth. Do not use excessive amounts of alcohol
that might drip o the cloth and into the amplier.
Caution! At no time should liquid cleaners be applied directly to
the amplifier, as direct application of liquids may result
in damage to electronic components within the unit.
From time to time, the air intake lter will need to be vacuum cleaned or
removed and rinsed with clean fresh water. A pressure sensor measures the
airow to determine when it is necessary to clean the lter. When cleaning is
required, the Standby LED will ash (combined red/blue) and a message will
besenttoconnectedtouchscreencontrolleddevicesviatheconnectedCAN-Bus
system. Since this is a maintenance and not a protection feature, the amplier
will continue to operate while the LED is ashing, so as not to interrupt a
listening session. Once the amplier enters standby mode it will require reset to
operate normally (press and hold the standby button). Use this opportunity to
checkandcleantheairintakelter.Removethefrontpanel(CTseriesamps)or
the air intake cover (Delta series amps) to access the lter.
