5. Open the “CobraNet Discovery”
software and connect the network
interface of your computer to the
CobraNet interface of the NE 900 D
Cobra by using an X-Over Cat.5 cable.
Turn the NE 900 D Cobra receiver on.
6. You can adjust the settings of the
software under Tools -> Options. Select
the network adapter under “Network
Adapter” to which you have connected
the receiver. Select the 192.168.1.1 start
address and the 192.168.1.255 end
address in the “IP Address Range” area.
Then tick the “Enable Auto Assignment”
tick box and select the “OK” button.
7. The CobraNet module is displayed in the list. An IP-address from the 192.168.1.xxx range is auto-
matically allocated to the module. Under “sysDescription” the beyerdynamic NE 900 D Cobra is
recognised. The current firmware version is also displayed.
If you click with the right mouse button onto the module, another menu will be opened where
you can select “Configure” in order to parameterise the receiver.
