Surface burner grates and reflector pans
1. Make sure all surface burners are off and the
surrounding parts are cool.
2. Lift off the surface burner grates and remove
the reflector pans.
3. Wash the grates and reflector pans with
warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher. Use a
nonabrasive, plastic scrubbing pad for
cooked-on foods. Rinse and dry well.
4. Replace reflector pans and burner grates.
Lift-up cooktop
1. Remove surface burner grates and reflector
pans.
2. Lift front of cooktop at both front corners until
the support rods lock into place.
Personal Injury and
Product Damage Hazard
l Be sure both support rods are fully
extended and in the locked position.
Failure to do so could result in personal
injury from the cooktop accidentally
falling.
l Do not drop the cooktop. Damage can
result to the porcelain and the cook-top
frame.
3. Wipe with warm, soapy water. Use a soapy
steel-wool pad on heavily soiled areas.
4. To lower the cooktop, lift cooktop from both
sides while pressing the support rods back to
unlock them. Lower the cooktop into place.
Replace reflector pans and surface burner
grates.
