Your range is designed for easy care. You
can do most cleaning with items found
around your home. Cleaning your range
whenever spills or soiling occurs will help to
keep it looking and operating like new.
Electrical Shock, Fire, and
Explosion Hazard
l Keep appliance area clear and free of
combustible materials, gasoline, and
other flammable vapors and liquids.
, l Make sure all controls are OFF and the
range is cool before cleaning.
l Do not use bleach or rust removers.
1 l Do not obstruct the flow of combustion
and ventilation air.
Failure to follow these guidelines could
result in burns, electrical shock, fire, or

Surface burner grates
1. Make sure all surface burners are off and
the surrounding parts are cool.
2. Lift off the surface burner grates.
3. Wash the grates with warm, soapy water
or in a dishwasher. Use a nonabrasive,
plastic scrubbing pad for cooked-on
foods. Rinse and dry well.
4. Replace burner grates.
