THROTTLE LEVER
The THROTTL E L EVER is used to select th e
desired engine speed and to stop the engine.
Mov ethe throttlelever tothe
positio n fo rfull
speed operation. Move the throttle lever to the
position for i dle speed. Tostop the engine,
move the throttle lever to the STO P position.
PRIMER BUTTON
The PRIMER BUTT O N removes air from the
carbureto r and fuel line s and fills them w ith fu e l.
This allows you to start the engine w ith fewer
pulls on the starter r ope. Activate pr imer button
by pr essingit and allowing it to retur n t o its or igi-
nal position.
CHOKE LEVER
The CHOKE helps to supply fuel to the engine
to aid in cold sta rting. Activate th e ch o ke by
moving the choke lever to the FULL CHO KE
position. Afterengine at temptsto star t, m ovethe
choke lever to the HALF CH OKE position.
Once engine star ts, move c hoke lever to the
RUN position.

While vacuuming or blowing debris, hold
the unit with the muffler side facing away
from your body and clothes (see illustration
above).

To reduce the risk of hearing loss
associated with sound level(s), hearing
protection is required.

To reduce the r isk of injury associated with
contacting rotating parts, stop the engine be-
fore installing or r e m o v in g attac h ments. D o
not oper ate without guard( s) in place.

Operate pow er equipm ent only a t r easonable
hours--not early in the morning or late at night
whenpeople m ight bedisturbed. Complywith
times listed in local ordinances. Usual recom-
mendations are 9:00 a .m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday though Saturday.

To reduce noise levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipment used at any one time.

To reduce noise levels, operate power
blowers at the lowest possible throttle
speed to do the job.

Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris be-
fore blowing.

In dusty conditions, slightly dampen sur-
faces or use a mister attachment when wa-
ter is available.

Conserve water by using power blow er s
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
