• The copy operation requires VMware Tools to be installed and running in the
guest operating system.
• If any file fails to be copied, the operation returns an error. In this case, Vix aborts
the operation and does not attempt to copy the remaining files.
Example
This example copies a compiled object file from a virtual machine to be run on the
host.
