Onceyourphoneison,itmaydisplay"SearchingforService."Whenyourphonefindsasignal,it

entersstandbymode–thephone‘sidlestate.Atthispoint,youarereadytobeginmakingand

receivingcalls.

Ifyourphoneisunabletofindasignalafter15minutesofsearching,aPowerSavefeatureis

automaticallyactivated.Whenasignalisfound,yourphoneautomaticallyreturnstostandbymode.

InPowerSavemode,yourphonesearchesforasignalperiodicallywithoutyourintervention.You

canalsoinitiateasearchforSprintservicebypressinganykey(whenyourphoneisturnedon).

Tip: ThePowerSavefeatureconservesyourbatterypowerwhenyouareinanareawherethereis

nosignal.
