Answer or Reject Direct Connect Calls

WhenyoureceiveaDirectConnectcall,youhearanincomingtoneorthephonevibrates.The

DirectConnectnumberorthecaller‘sname(ifavailable)isdisplayed.Youmayalsohearthecaller‘s

voicethroughthespeakerphone.BydefaultforDirectConnectcalls,thespeakerphoneisactivated.

YoucanturnthespeakerphoneoffandlistentoDirectConnectcallsthroughtheearpieceasyou

wouldaregularcall,oryoucanlistenthroughaheadset.

FollowtheinstructionsbelowtoansweraDirectConnectcall:

1. PressHandset/Loudsp.(rightselectionkey)toenableordisabletheDirectConnect

speakerphonefeature.

l IfyouenabletheDirectConnectspeakerphone,youwillhearthecaller‘svoicethroughthe

speakerphoneonthefrontofthephone.

l IfyoudisabletheDirectConnectspeakerphone,youwillonlyhearthecaller‘svoicethrough

theearpiece.

2. Whenthecallerhasfinishedspeaking,youwillhearatone.

3. PressandholdtheDCbuttonandwaitforatonetosoundandamessage(Me)toappear

onscreenbeforeyoubegintalking.ReleasetheDCbuttonwhenyouhavefinishedtalking.

4. PresstheRed button(Endcallbutton)todisconnect.
