Using the Menus
The phone offers a range of functions that allow you
to tailor the phone to your needs. These functions
are arranged in menus and sub-menus.
The menus and sub-menus can be accessed by
scrolling, entering the shortcut number or by pressing
a shortcut key.
Accessing Menu Functions by Scrolling
1. In idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access
the menu facility. Push up or down to reach
the required main menu, such as Tones. Press the
Select soft key to enter the menu.
2. If the menu contains any sub-menus, Ring Tone
for example, you can access them by pushing
up or down and pressing the Select soft key.
If the menu you have selected contains further
options, repeat the same procedure.
3. To... Then...
Scroll through the menus Push up or
down.
Confirm the chosen setting Press the Select
soft key.
Return to the previous Press or the
menu level soft key.
Exit the menu, without Press the
changing the settings key.
4. Scroll through the menus until you reach the
Alert Type menu by pushing up or down.
5. Select the Alert Type menu by pressing the
Select soft key or the key.
The current setting is highlighted.
6. Scroll through the list of options until the
appropriate one is highlighted, by pushing up
or down.
7. Press the Select soft key to confirm your
selection.
8. Press the key to exit the menu structure.
