Your phone receives voice mail notification messages,
and text messages. Voice mail and short message
s e rvice (SMS) are network service. Please contact
your service provider for more inform a t i o n .
When the icon appears, you have received new
text messages. when the icon appears, you have
received voice mail. If the message memory is full,
an error message is displayed and you cannot
receive any new messages. Use the Delete option in
the Read Messages menu (2-2) to delete obsolete
messages.

This menu provides you with a quick way of
accessing your voice mailbox (if provided by your
network).
Connect to Voice Mail
Before using this feature, you must enter the voice
server number obtained from your service provider
(see the following page). You can then select this
option and simply press the Ok soft key to listen to
your messages.

in idle mode, you can access your voice mail

Read Messages Menu 2-2
When the Read Messages menu is selected, the
header of the first message is displayed:
• Message number
• Message status (New, Old, Not sent, Sent)
To view this message, press the View soft key. The
screen shows the:
• Sender’s phone number (if sent with the message)
• Date and time at which the message was
received
• Message text
