Section 6: Messages
This section explains how to send or receive different types of
messages. This section also describes the features and functionality
associated with messaging.
Types of Messages
Your phone is able to send and receive Text and Picture messages to
compatible phones and devices. Text messages can be up to 150
characters in length.
Note:
Available memory is shared between all messages, and the maximum
number of stored messages depends on message size.
Create and Send Text Messages
1. From the Home screen, touch

New Message
➔
Text
Message
. The
New Text Msg
screen appears in the display.
2. To address the message, touch
Add
or
New#
.
3. Select a number or open the keypad and enter a number.
4. Open the keypad, if closed, touch the
Text
field, and enter the
message text.
5. Touch
Send
.
