Troubleshooting
IftheunitdoesnotperformproperlywhenoperatedasinstructedinthisUserManual,
check the following chart and all connections once before calling for service.
Symptom Remedy
No power • MakesurethattheACoutletsuppliesthepropervoltage,pluganotherelectricalapplianceintotheACoutletto
ensurethatACoutletoperatesnormally.
• Ifapowerfailureoccurs,unplugtheACpowercordfor1minutetoallowtheunittoresetitself.
Remote control buttons do
not work.
• Re-insertthebatterieswiththeirpolarities(+/−signs)asindicated.
• Whenthereisaninfrared-equippeddevicesuchasaPCisnearthisunit,itmayinterrupttheremotecontrolsignalof
thisunit.
Power is ON but no screen
image.
• Checkwhethertheconnectionoftheantenna,cablereceiverorsatelliteboxisconnectedcorrectly.
• CheckwhetherallthecablestotheunitareconnectedtothecorrectOutputjackofyourdevicelikeBlu-ray/DVD
recorder.
• CheckifyourcomputerisNOTinsleepmodewhentheInputmodeofthisunitisinPCmode.Tapanykeyonthe
keyboardtowakeupyourcomputer.
• CheckifthecorrectInputmodeisselectedbypressing
SOURCE.
No picture or sound • ViewotherTVchannels.Theproblemmightbelimitedtothebroadcastingstationorweaksignalstrength.
• UnplugtheACpowercordandwaitforabout1minute,thenplugtheACpowercordandturnOntheunitagain.
• Autoprogrammustbecompletedwhenyousetuptheunitforthersttimeormoveittoalocationwhere
previouslyunavailablechannelsarebroadcast.
• TheselectedchannelcannotbeviewedbytheChild lock setting. p. 23
