Getting Started
If you intend to use the camera for a long time or connect the camera to
a computer, use of the AC adapter D-AC7 is recommended.
1 Make sure that the camera is turned off and open the
terminal cover.
2 Connect the DC terminal of the AC adapter to the DC
input terminal on the camera.
3 Connect the AC plug cord to the AC adapter.
4 Plug the AC plug cord into the power outlet.
Using the AC Adapter (optional)
• Make sure that the camera is turned off when connecting and
disconnecting the AC adapter.
• Make sure that the AC plug cord and connecting cable are
inserted securely. The data may be lost if the cable becomes
disconnected while you are taking pictures.
• To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock when using the battery
charger or AC adapter, be sure to read the section on “FOR SAFE
USE OF YOUR CAMERA” (p.1).
• Be sure to read the operation manual accompanying the AC
adapter before using the adapter.
• The battery cannot be charged inside the camera even when the
AC adapter is connected.
