To change how power is managed
You can change power-management settings that affect power usage and performance.
For ideas about how to save battery power, see “To save battery power”.
Setting Power Options
Click Start and HP User Tools, then on the Setup tab click OmniBook. On the Power tab
you can choose the power settings you want.
1. In Program Manager, double-click the OmniBook Tools icon (in the Main group).
2. Click Power Management.
3. Select the power-management option that matches the balance you want between
battery life and response time.
If you choose the Custom option, you can change the individual timeout settings,
such as the automatic turn-off time.
4. Choose OK.
