Paper Jam Problems
CAUTION: If the paper tears while you remove it, make
sure you also remove any pieces remaining in the printer.
To do this, open the printer cover, remove any paper pieces
from the paper feed path, and close the printer cover.

Open and close the printer cover to reset the paper jam detector.
3.
Tap the edges of the paper on a flat surface and reload it into the
paper cassette. (Do not reload any curled or wrinkled sheets.)
4.
Push the paper cassette back into the printer. Make sure the
printer is on line; printing resumes automatically beginning with
the jammed page.
If paper feeding problems continue, see Chapter 5 to make sure that
you are using the correct paper for your printer.
If the procedure described above does not clear the error and you
have installed the optional multi-media feeder, follow these steps:
1.
Pull out the multi-media feeder.
2.
Remove any folded or curled paper from the front opening as
shown below.
