Using Your Bluetooth Hands Free Kit
Powering On/Off
Thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallyturnonwhenthevehicle’skeyisturnedtotheaccessorypositionandwillremainon
untilthevehicle’saccessorypoweristurnedoff.Afterturningon,thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallysearchforphonesthat
havebeenpairedwithit.Sinceitispossibletohavemultiplephonespairedtothesystemtheorderof priorityof
connectingwillbethelatestphonepaired,thephonemostusedwiththesystem,thephonesecondmostusedphonewith
thesystem.Ifthebluetoothkithasnotbeenpairedtoaphonepairingwillautomaticallyactivate.
MakingaCall
Whenconnectedtothebluetoothkityoumayuseyourphoneasnormaltodialnumbersorsearchyourcontactslist
or by using VoiceDialing.
VoiceDialing
ToactivatevoicedialingpresstheANSWERkeyonthebluetoothkeypad,thesystemwillpromptyouforacommand.
Clearlyspeakyourcommand(example,“CallShaun”).Thesystemwillthenconfirmthecommandandinthis
examplewillthencall“Shaun”.
Ending a Call
ToendacallpressandholdtheENDkeyfor2seconds.
Answer aCall
Whenthereis anincoming callthe vehicle’sradiowill bemuted/turnedoffandthe callwill ringthroughthe
vehicle’sspeaker,toanswerpresstheANSWERkey.
Ignore an Incoming Call
ToIgnoreanincomingcallpressandholdtheENDkey.
Redial the Last Number
To redialthelastnumberpressandholdtheANSWERkeyfor2seconds.
Adjusting the Call Volume
Whileinacall,adjustthevolumeup/downwiththeANSWERkeyorENDkey,eachpressraisesorlowersthe
volumeby1level.Whenthemin/maxvolumeisreachedthesystemwillbeep2timesthroughthespeaker.
Transfer a Call
TotransferacallbetweenbluetoothhandsfreeornormalphoneoperationpressandholdtheANSWER keyonthe
bluetoothkeypadfor2seconds.
Pairing
ToactivatephonepairingpressandholdboththeANSWERandENDkeysatthesametimefor3seconds.Atthis
timeyouwillneedtoactivatepairingonthephone,seeyourphonesownersmanual.ThePINcodeforpairingis1234
andwillneedtobeenteredintoyourphoneatthetimeofpairing.
