Non skid Pads
The pads supplied with the YST-M8 should be stuck onto
the bottom of each speaker cabinet as shown. As well as
preventing the YST-M8 from slipping around, these pads
also isolate the cabinet from the mounting surface.
Controls
Front Panel (right cabinet) (Refer to page 5)
6 (power) switch and indicator: Press the (power) switch to turn on the
YST-M8; the indicator will light up. Press it again to turn off. Before
turning on and off, turn down the VOLUME control.
7 VOLUME control: Use this control to set the volume level. Turn it clockwise
to increase the volume, and counterclockwise to reduce it.
8 TONE control: This control allows frequency boost and cut up to ±7 dB at
10 kHz. This tends to emphasize vocals, providing a warmer intimate sound.
Turn it clockwise to boost, and counterclockwise to cut.
9 (headphones) jack: Use this jack to connect stereo headphones for
monitoring. No sound is output from the speakers or the OUTPUT
(ADJ.VOL.) jack when headphones are connected.
