The World’s First 2700 Watt On-Wall Subwoofer
DRESSED FOR SUCCESS
The world’s most advanced drivers deserve a home of
equal stature. That’s why Sunfire designs and builds the
SubRosa’s cabinet to true, XT Series standards.
Its MDF panels have nearly 20% more density than most
comparable speakers. More density means less vibration
and noise during playback. The MDF panels are shaped
using the most costly CNC process, not the lesser and more
common V-Cut or similar. Only Class A tools, the finest
available, are ever used for the job.
The SubRosa On-Wall has a cabinet finished in a
spectacular rosewood finish. To create that finish, each
cabinet receives 11 coats of hand applied lacquer. The
first 5 ‘base’ layers are each sanded and the 6 ‘finishing’
layers are polished by hand between each coat. Each
base layer takes 2 days to complete and each finishing
layer takes 3 days. Each cabinet receives the watchful
eye of a Quality Control technician before passing final
inspection. In addition, the back box of every SubRosa
in-wall is painted with a specially formulated, high-impact
paint to reduce the chance of damage to the speaker’s
surface during installation.
When an In-Wall SubRosa doesn’t fit the bill, choose its On-Wall sibling, the
SRS-210R. This remarkable subwoofer is a rare combination of massive power
paired with extraordinary reserve. Its 2700 Watts of
pure, musical bass is more than any other On-Wall
subwoofer in its class. But, this kind of brutal power
needs equally serious management or the shake and
vibration will ruin the performance. It’s why SubRosa features
exclusive StillBass anti-shake technology that virtually eliminates
unwanted wall vibrations no matter how loud your SubRosa
is playing. And, for lasting visual pleasure throughout the day,
there’s the SRS-210R’s premium, rosewood cabinet. Its beautiful finish is made
up of 11 hand-rubbed layers of lacquer that take 28 days to apply, sand and
bake to a gorgeous mirror-like surface. Like its In-Wall
sibling, the SRS-210R makes beautiful music with 2,
low-profile High Back-emf 10” woofers. These legendary
drivers are now 30% slimmer than the ones in our non XT
Series In-Room subwoofers. The all-new SubRosa SRS-210R: For some it may
seem a luxury. For others, it’s nothing short of a necessity.
