Playback starts from the point
you stopped. (resume
function)
During playback of an MP3

Cause and/or corrective action
c The resume function is working. To start play from the first track,
press N > for 2 seconds or more, or open the lid of the CD
player. Or remove all power sources, then insert the batteries or
connect the AC power adaptor again.

The CD player is designed to stop the rotation of an MP3 CD
during playback to reduce the power consumption. The player is not
malfunctioning.
c
There are no MP3 files in the CD.
c A CD-RW from which the data has been erased is being used.
c The CD is dirty.

The CD player is reading the information on the CD. The player is
not malfunctioning.

Adjust the volume of the CD player and the connected device.

If you use an MP3 file that was compressed with a transfer bit rate
setting other than “128kbps,” this phenomenon may occur. We
recommend setting the bit rate to “128kbps.”
