* The output from the CD player can be
easilyrecorded.
Connect a patch cable (not supplied)
from the LINE OUT jack on the CD
player to the LINE INPUT jacks on a
cassetteorotherrecorder.
* The sound from the CD can be heard
throughapairofspeakers.
Connect a patch cable ( not supplied )
from the LINE OUT jack on the CD
playertothe AUXorCD INPUTjacks on
astereosystem.
CLEANING THE CABINET
Use a soft cloth moistened with plain
lukewarm water and wrung dry. Never
use benzol, benzene or other strong
chemical cleaners, since these could
damage the finish. It is important that no
liquid reaches the inside of the unit.
CLEANING THE PICKUP LENS
Dust on the pickup lens can lead to erratic
operation and interruption of the sound
during play.
To clean the pickup lens, open the disc
compartment. Blow the dust off of the
lens using a camera lens blower
(available at most camera stores). Do
nottouchthesurfaceofthelens.

During MP3 play,songs can be selected bytitle, as follows:
In STOP mode,press and holdMODE for afew seconds until" " is
displayed.
The letter " " will thenappear. Press SKIP/SEARCH( or ) toselect
the letter or symbol.
Press MODE to confirm the selected letteror symbol.
Another letter appears. Continue toselect and confirm.
Press STOP toreturn to thelast letter.
After the selectionis made, pressPLAY/PAUSE to play the selectedsongs.
If a song is notfound, " " willappear briefly; thiswill then change
to " " .
To return to normalplayback, press " " for a few seconds, and thenpress
PLAY/PAUSE to resumeplay.
Note: A maximum of 10 characters can be inputted. If more than one song
matches the first 10 characters,it will selectthe first song.
