Whenever the radio is turned on, the last tuned
station will be played.
There are four ways to tune to a radio station:
Manual tuning — Repeatedly press HOUR + or MIN
- to tune up or down.
Automatic tuning — Press and hold HOUR + or MIN
- for more than one second and then release. The
radio searches for a radio program automatically and
stops when a strong signal is received.
Memory tuning — Press the number buttons to
select a preset station directly.
Direct entry to stations — Use the number buttons
to enter the frequency of your station.
presetting radio stations
Store your favorite radio stations as presets in the
memory. You can store up to 10 stations for each
band.
1. Turn on your radio and select a band.
2. Press or hold HOUR + or MIN - to search for a
radio station.
3. Press MEM/TIME to enter the preset mode.
4. As MEMO ashes on the display, press a numberpress a number
from 0 - 9 to select a channel number. CH and the
number appears on the display.
5. Press MEM/TIME to store.store.
6. Repeat steps 2 - 5 to store other stations.
After you enter the preset mode, complete
each step within 5 seconds, otherwise the
radio exits the presetting mode.
A newly stored preset station can overwrite a
former preset.
direct entry to stations
1. Turn on your radio and select a band.
2. Press ENTER.
3. Use the number buttons to enter a valid
frequency, and press ENTER.
For direct entry, complete each step within 10
seconds, otherwise the radio exits the mode
automatically.
If an invalid frequency is entered, Err ashes.
Disregard the decimal point when entering
the frequency. If you want to enter 3.20 MHz
of a SW band, press 0, 3, 2, 0.

To set clock time, complete each step
within 5 seconds, otherwise the radio exits
the clock setting mode automatically.
To view the time while listening to the radio,
press and hold DUAL TIME for 3 seconds. The
time displays for 5 seconds.
1. Turn off the radio. The clock time shows.
2. Press MEM/TIME to select a clock time.
3. As the clock time ashes on the display, press or
hold HOUR + or MIN - to increase the hour or
minute digits within 5 seconds or the radio exits
time setting mode.
4. Press MEM/TIME again or wait for 5 seconds to
save and exit.
5. (Optional) To set an alternate time, press DUAL
TIME. TIME2 displays in the upper left of the
screen. Repeat steps 2 - 4 to set the alternate
time.

setting the alarm time
1. Press ALARM.
2. As the alarm time ashes, press or hold HOUR +
or MIN - to adjust the hour or minute.
3. When the desired alarm time appears, wait until
the display stops ashing to save and exit.
setting the alarm mode
1. Press ALARM once or twice. Alarm time with M
(buzzer) or + (radio) flashes.
2. When your desired alarm mode appears, wait
until the display stops flashing to confirm. Clock
time and the alarm mode icon appears.
To cancel the alarm, press ALARM three times until
the alarm icon disappears.
When the alarm sounds, press any key to stop it
for 24 hours. Press SNOOZE to mute the alarm for
about 9 minutes.
To ensure the alarm sounds at the desired
time, make sure the correct clock time
displays.
setting the alarm
Note
You can set a timer to beep later (1 minute to 99
minutes).
1. Press TIMER (radio can be on or off).
2. When 00 appears, press TIMER or MIN - to set
the timer.
3. When the desired settings appears, wait for 5
seconds until the last display appears.
TIMER appears when the timer is activated. To view
the remaining time, press TIMER once.
To cancel the timer, set the timer to 00.
To stop the beeping, press any key.
setting the timer
You can set your radio to play for a certain period of
time (10 to 90 minutes) and turn off automatically.
1. Press SLEEP to turn on your radio if not already
switched on.
2. When 10 and SLEEP appear, press SLEEP
repeatedly to select the sleep timer from 10 to 90
minutes.
SLEEP appears when the sleep timer is activated.
Press SLEEP during the sleep timer to cancel the
sleep timer function. SLEEP disappears.

• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
• Do not burn or bury batteries.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and
recommended type.
• Do not mix batteries of different sizes or chemistries.
• If you do not plan to use your radio for a week
or more, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
• When ashes on the display, replace the
batteries.
• Automatic tuning may not work properly if battery
power is low. If this happens, replace the batteries.
