INSTALLING BATTERIES
You need two AAA batteries to power the radio. For the best performance
and longest battery life, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio
Shack Cat. No. 23-555.
CAUTIONS: Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
Never leave dead or weak batteries in the radio.
Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly, do not bury or
burn them.
1. Pull the battery compartment cover's tab down in the direction of the
arrow. The battery compartment opens.
Caution: The battery compartment cover is attached to the radio. Do
not try to remove it.
2. Install the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
marked beside the compartment.
3. Push the cover closed and snap it into place to secure it.
