Settings
Adjusting the color matching
using a colorimeter
[RED], [GREEN], [BLUE], [CYAN], [MAGENTA],
[YELLOW], and [WHITE] can be set to preferred
colors using the colorimeter that can measure the
chromaticity coordinates and luminance.

Inputting the current luminance and
chromaticity coordinates
1) Press ▲▼ to select [COLOR MATCHING].
2) Press ◀▶ to select [MEASURED].
3) Press the <ENTER> button.
z
The [MEASURED MODE] screen is displayed.
4) Press ▲▼ to select [MEASURED DATA].
5) Press the <ENTER> button.
z
The [MEASURED DATA] screen is displayed.
6) Measure the luminance (Y) and the
chromaticity coordinates (x, y) using
the colorimeter.
7) Press ▲▼ to select a color, and press
◀▶ to adjust the setting.
8) Once all the input is completed, press
the <MENU> button.

The [MEASURED MODE] screen is displayed.

Inputting the coordinates of a desired
color
1) Press ▲▼ to select [TARGET DATA].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
z
The [TARGET DATA] screen is displayed.
3) Press ▲▼ to select the desired
colors, and press ◀▶ to input their
coordinates.
4) Once all the input is completed, press
the <MENU> button.
Note

Correct colors cannot be displayed when the target
data is out of the color range for the projector.
z
When [AUTO TESTPATTERN] is set to [ON],
adjustment test pattern for the selected adjustment
color is automatically displayed.
z
When measuring the measurement data using a
measurement device such as a colorimeter, start
the measurement after setting [PICTURE MODE]
to [DYNAMIC].
z
There may be differences between the chromaticity
coordinates of the target data and measured values
of the colorimeter depending on the measurement
device used and measurement environment.
[COLOR CORRECTION]
You can adjust and register colors by input signals.
1) Press ▲▼ to select [COLOR
CORRECTION].
2) Press ◀▶ to switch [COLOR
CORRECTION].

The six colors of red, green, blue,
cyan, magenta, and yellow can be
adjusted and registered for each of
the four signal methods of VIDEO,
S-VIDEO, RGB, and YP

the <ENTER> button.
[CONTRAST MODE]
There are two types of contrast modes. Set in
accordance with the environment of usage.
1) Press ▲▼ to select [CONTRAST MODE].
2) Press ◀▶ to switch [CONTRAST MODE].
[NORMAL] Sets the brightness to maximum.
[HIGH] Sets the contrast to maximum.
