Monster HTS 1000 MKII PowerCenter Features
1. ON/OFF Switch: This switch turns the PowerCenter on and off. The switch lights up when turned to the ON position,
providing power to components plugged into the switched outlets. Pressing the switch to the OFF position shuts off
power to switched outlets. Components plugged into unswitched outlets still receive power, however, provided the
PowerCenter is plugged into a 120V outlet.
2. GROUND OK Indicator: Indicates the wall outlet that the PowerCenter is plugged into is grounded.
3. PROTECTION ON Indicator: Indicates that the internal surge protection of the PowerCenter is active.
4. Audio Filter (Switched Outlets): These outlets have a special filter circuit that reduces noise from the AC power line
that goes to your audio components. Match the appropriate identification label to each component’s power cord.
5. Telephone/Network Ethernet Input/Output: Allows you to hook up to telephone lines (RJ11) or networks (RJ45),
and protect your system against power surges coming from them.
6. Video Interference Reduction Filter (Unswitched Outlets): These outlets have a special filter circuit that is
designed to reduce interference to your video components. Make sure to match the appropriate identification label
to each component’s power cord.
7. Cable/Satellite/Antenna Coaxial Connection: “IN” connects the coaxial cable from either wall cable outlet, satellite
dish or TV antenna. “OUT” connects the coaxial cable to input of TV, VCR, cable box or satellite receiver.
8. Remote AC/DC Input Jack: Allows remote turn on/off of switched outlets. This feature allows you to turn
the PowerCenter on or off via a component with a remote trigger out.
