MC Series: MC412A, MC412B & MC212
The sonic power and iconic presence of a full stack has been the dream
of many guitarists. New for 2007, Marshall fulfils thosedreams and
presents the MC cabinet series – Aseries of entry level cabinets that for
the first time puts a real Marshallfullsize4x12" stack in reach of many.
Made at ourUK factory and loaded with Celestion speakers, our
engineers have worked hard to ensure that these are the most affordable
full size Marshall cabinets available, while still providing the sonics and
build quality that are more than worthy of the badgetheywear. The
MC412s 200 Watts of power, combinedwiththe same flexible
Mono/Stereo switching ofour 1960s, means it will handle any Marshall
guitar head withease. We recommend using 4 Ohms for gettingfull
power out of the MGand AVT heads, while the 16 Ohms setting is
preferrable for use with our valve heads. Completing the series is the
MC212 130 Watt 2x12".
Compact Cabinets
Although allour Stereo/Mono 4x12"s are perfect for use withstereorack
systems, we also produce arange ofsmaller, Celestion-loaded 2x12"
and 1x12" cabinets, ideally suited for use with such set-upsor as
extension cabinets for combos. The compact, but full sounding,1912
150 Watt1x12" can be used as an extensioncab for a 1x12" combo or
with another1912 to create a highly portable stereo rackset-up. The
1922 2x12" cab has Mono or Stereo options and is ideal for arack
system or as an extension cabinet for a 2x12" combo. The larger1936,
also has Mono/Stereo options andis great for alarger rack system. It fits
a fullsizeMarshall headperfectly too, givingyou a compact 2x12" stack.

techniques, Marshall offers a wide range of cabinets that arenot only
perfect for your needs . . .they will also last you a lifetime.
Mono/Stereo Switching
To ensure the ultimatein flexibility, six of our standard 4x12"s are
switchable between Mono (4or 16 Ohms) and Stereo (8 Ohms perside).
The cabs inquestion are the 1960A (angled), 1960B (straight), 1960AV
(angled), 1960BV (straight), MC412A (angled) and MC412B (straight).
The two Mono impedance options(16/4 Ohms) provide extra amp
matchingcapabilities, while the cabinets’ stereo capability makes them
ideal for rack systems which typically run in stereo.The 1922,1936and
MC212 2x12"s also have a non-switchable stereo option.
Due to demand, we have made the 1936cabinet available with
Marshall/Celestion‘Vintage’ 70 Watt speakers. Named the 1936V, this
2x12" cabinethas the sameportable dimensions as the standard 1936,
while offering you the option of that warm‘Vintage’ speaker tone.
