The KLIMAX KONTROL needs to be configured for all sources it is connected to.Source setup allows you to
tell the KLIMAX KONTROL which of the back panel inputs a source is connected to,the type of source
connected and allows you to configure each source setup to suit your requirements.
Notes:
The maximum number of source setups is five.
You can save adjustments you make and exit source setup mode at any stage of the setup process,by
pressing STANDBY.
If you wish to reset the source setups to the settings defined by the installer when your KLIMAX KONTROL
was first configured,set the INSTALLER SETUP user option to YES (see User Options,page 15).
1 Put unit into standby mode
2 Enter source setup mode
Hold SOURCE + on the front panel or BAL R on the handset until
the display shows SOURCE SETUP (1) and the current source type
(either CD,PH1, PH2,TUN,TAPE 1,TAPE 2, AUX1 or NONE).
3 Select the source setup
To select which of the five source setups you wish to setup or adjust:
■ Repeatedly press or hold SOURCE + on the front panel or BAL R on
the handset.
SOURCE SETUP 1 is for a balanced input*,SOURCE SETUPs 2,3 and 4 are for
unbalanced inputs,SOURCE SETUP 5 is for use with a KNEKT system.
* SOURCE SETUP 1 can be configured in the user options for an
unbalanced input (see User Options, page 14).
