Discs can be registered separately by 26 types of music
genres.
1Press the MODE key.
÷When the MODE key is pressed during MUSIC TYPE SET mode, the
MUSIC TYPE SET mode is cancelled.
Preparation
÷Load discs in the carousel. 0
÷Close the door panel. !
÷Set the CD player to stop mode.
÷Check that the unit is in the normal play

When “Rock Music” is selected
÷When the selected disc corresponds to CD-TEXT and contains a genre
code, that genre code is registered as the music type.

Select the desired disc.

÷The disc number can be selected directly by using the numeric keys in
place of the DISC SKIP keys.
÷Repeat step 3 if it is required to register another disc in the music type
selected above.
÷To register another music type, exit the MUSIC TYPE SET mode once
and restart from the beginning.

In regard to disc information reading
The entered music type or user file is read in to the disc
with the following timing.
÷When that disc is played.
÷When ALL DATA READ is executed.

Do not move or exchange discs until the disc information
has been read in.
To quit MUSIC TYPE SET mode
Press the MODE key.
Each press switches the modes as follows:
