TROUBLESHOOTING
If there is nosoundfrom
any ofthe speakers:
• Check that rece[ver/a mplif[er is
on and that asource isplaying¸
• Review proper operation of your
receiver/amplifien
If there is nosound coming
from one speaker:
• Check the "Balance" control on
your receiver/a mplifier
• Checkall wires and connections
between receivel/amplifier
and speakers¸ Make sure I1o
Wires are touching other wires or
tel minals and creating a sholt
circuit¸
Make sure all wires are
connected¸ Make sure None of
[he speaker wires are flayed, cut
or punctured¸
In Dolby _ Digital or DTS '¸¸modem
make sure that [he receiver/
processor is configured so thai
[he speaker in question is
enabled.
• Turn off all electronics and
switch the speaker inquestion
with one of [he other speakers
[ha[ isworking correctly. _um
everything back on, and
determine whethel the problem [s
[nthe same place, in, the
speaker that was working
pleviously now has no sound and
the speaker that was no[working
now sounds fine; or whether it
has moved, ie, the speaker that
was not working stiff hasno
sound and the speakel that was
wol king is still fine Ifthe problem
isin the sameplace, the source of
the problem is most likely with
your recewer or amplifier, and you
shouldconsult [he owner's manual
for that product for furlher
informabon ]fthe plobJemhas

If the system playsat low
volumesbut shuts offasvolume
is increased:
• Checkall wires and connections
between receiver/ampfifier
and speakers¸
• Make sure all wires are
connected¸ Make sure none of
the speakel wires are flayed, cut
or punc[uled
If more than one pak of main
speakers is being used,check the
mirllmum impedance requirements
ofyour receiver/amplifiel
If there isno (or low) bassoutput:
• Make sure the polaribes
_ and-) of the Jeffand right
"Speaker Inputs" are connected
properly.
• Consider adding a powered
subwoofor to your system
If there is no sound from
the center speaker:
Check aft wires and connections
between receiver/amplifier and
speaken Make sure all wires are
connected. Make sure none of
the speaker wires are frayed, cut
el punctured¸
If your receiver/processol is set
in Dolby Pie Logic* mode, make
sure [he center speaker is not in
phantom mode¸
If your receiver/processol
is set in Dolby Digital or DTS
mode, make sure [he receiver/
plocessor is configured so that
the center speaker is e_labled
