introduction
Thank you for purchasing an a/d/s/ in-ceiling speaker system. Please read the following instructions
carefully. Following these instructions will ensure that your system will deliver the best possible
performance.
cautions
To reduce risk of injury because of an accident, be careful when working on a ladder or other high places.
about this manual
In-ceiling speakers can be used with many different receivers/televisions or amplifiers. They are designed
to be powered by an amplifier with a minimum of 20 watts of power.
features
tweeter
The HT series in-ceiling tweeters incorporate a 1" soft dome gimble tweeter, Ferrofluid™, and damped
voice coils.
tweeter protection
A solid state device reduces power to the tweeter when the loudspeaker is operated at unsafe power
levels. It resets automatically when power is reduced to a safe level. Note: the tweeter protector provides
a significant level of protection. However it does not guarantee that the tweeter cannot be damaged.
Always be careful when operating the speakers at a high volume level.
tweeter attenuation
The tweeter level can be adjusted with the provided switch located under the grill mesh in the speaker
mounting frame.
woofer
The high-excursion woofer employs a barium ferrite magnet structure for well damped, extended bass
and high efficiency.
pre-wire connector
Two-piece speaker wire terminals are provided to facilitate simple, painless pre-wiring and installation. Just plug
and play.
