Step 2—Memory
System supports two memory kits for a maximum of 2 GB of memory.
Packaged systems include one memory kit.
Each kit includes four industry-standard DIMMs with ECC support.

Step 3a—Internal Storage
An onboard UltraSCSI adapter is included in each system to support a maximum of seven internal devices, four SCA-2
disk drives plus three removable devices.

- One 600 MB 12X CD-ROM drive
- One 1.44 MB diskette drive in dedicated slot
Additional Internal Storage supported
- Three hard disk drive bays
- Two removable 5.25-inch half-height removable media bays, or
One removable 5.25-inch full-height removable media bay

Selection of one System Disk Drive is mandatory, see Step 1c.
Up to three additional hard disk drives are supported internally.

Internal SCSI Cable Kits
PB8HA-DA
Internal 68-pin HD SCSI cables. Connects 16-bit wide SCSI adapters and controllers, KZPAC-xx,
KZPCM-DA, or KZPBA-CA to internal storage assembly. Maximum one per system.
BC25V-1H
Internal UltraSCSI cable breakout assembly kit. Connects the third port of the KZPAC-CA/CB to
one of the two expansion breakout slots on back of AlphaServer 800.
