The auxiliary program source shall be a Bogen Model
CR100A integrated auto-reversing cassette tape
player and an AM/FM-stereo tuner with a built-in
stereo amplifier (1-watt per channel).
The program source shall feature electronic quartz-
locked PLL tuning with manual tuning control and
auto seek control. The auto seek control shall auto-
matically ascend (or descend) the frequency scale to
the next strong frequency. It shall be possible to pre-
program up to 4 bands (FM1,FM2, FM3, AM) with up
to 6 stations each for a total of 24 stations. A preset
scan control shall be provided to scroll and select
from available presets.
The cassette tape playback system shall be an auto-
matically reversing,dual-capstan drive type,with wow
and flutter limited to 0.35%. The frequency response
shall be 100 Hz to 8 kHz, with signal to noise ratio at
54 dB. The FM tuner section shall have 10 dB sensi-
tivity, signal-to-noise ratio at 60 dB and frequency
range from 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz.
The following controls shall be provided: ON/VOL-
UME, BALANCE, TONE, EJECT, PROGRAM (fast
forward and rewind), SEEK, A/PS (auto seek/preset
scan), BAND (band), STEREO (stereo), and 6 push-
buttons for preset functions.An LCD digital readout
shall be provided to show selected frequency and
band.
The program source shall operate on 120V, 60 Hz
AC. It shall incorporate a low-level, 600-ohm output
that shall be capable of driving the auxiliary input
(AUX) of a public address amplifier. It shall be
possible to drive 8-ohm loudspeakers directly utiliz-
ing the internal stereo amplifier (1-watt per channel).
The program source shall be rack mountable in a
standard 19" equipment rack by means of the
optional RK78 rack panel kit (3
