Infrared lens
… for receiving of infrared signals.
Note: To avoid disturbances the IR-lens should not be covered!
LC-Display
The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a seven-segment display (two digits) and gives information on different
functions and the condition of the receiver.
The following list is a key to the information that can be displayed.
Normal operation display
00 Original channel (unshifted) (Default display is the channel selection)
01 … 31 channels 01 to 31 (Default display is the channel selection)
or Original channel (shifted)
˙00 … ˙15 Volume setting
(Only displayed when volume button depressed, display reverts to channel display after 3 seconds)
Service Mode display
SE Service mode, flashes alternately with a two-digit number ‘XX’, indicating the firmware
version.
XX Two-digit number ‘XX’, indicating the firmware version, e.g. 26 (Version 2.6)
bA Battery status, flashes alternately with a two-digit number
43 Two-digit number, flashes alternately with bA (battery status),
the number shows battery status, ‘43’ = 4.3 V (operating voltage)
rF Display of the IR field-strength, flashes alternately with
two letters indicating IR field-strength Lo, no, Hi and the channel number.
IR field-strength of other channels can be checked by pressing “VOL” or “VOL”.
Lo Lo (Low), IR field-strength less than 28 dBa
no no (Normal), IR field-strength between 30 and 40 dBa
Hi Hi (High), IR field-strength higher than 40 dBa
XX Two-digit number ‘XX’, indicating the channel number (flashes alternately with rF)
˙GU Guard module is installed and activated (changing is not possible)
P1 … P3 Factory test settings (test only)
U
Muting, Default = ON
SH Channel Shift, Default = OFF
En / nd (flashes alternately) End of menu in service mode and exit point.
- exit with “CH” or “VOL” or “VOL
- or with hardware reset
- or automatically after 120sec.
Navigation keys
(VOL) Volume up

Charging contacts
The charging contacts will be used to recharge the receiver. Therefore the receiver must be equipped with
rechargeable batteries and the storage tray has to be connected to the power supply (see accessories).
